For Sunshine Coast businesses that can't shut the doors for a week.

Shop owners and office managers. Cafe and restaurant operators. Body corporate committees with tired foyers, stairwells and car parks. Builders who need a new commercial job painted before handover. You want the place looking sharp again without losing days of trade, and you want a quote you can hand to an owner or a board.

The job fits around your hours.

We plan the work around the times you trade. A shopfront or dining room can be painted after close or on a weekend, one section at a time. An office can go room by room while the rest of the team keeps working. Each shift ends with the area cleaned up and ready for the morning. We’ve carried commercial and industrial work alongside our house painting for years, and the family has been painting on the Coast since 1985.

What changes on a commercial job

Where a commercial repaint differs from a house.

  • Your trading hours set the timetable

A cafe can’t serve lunch around a drop sheet. We split the site into sections and paint the ones you can spare, after close or on a weekend when there’s no other gap. You give us your hours and we build the plan from them.

  • Proof of licence and cover, on request

Landlords and property managers often want to see paperwork before anyone gets a key. We hold QBCC licence 1281728 and carry public liability and workers comp. Ask and we’ll send the certificates along with the quote.

  • Sheds and warehouses get their own spec

A warehouse wall and a plant room don’t need the same paint. We choose the paint system to suit the surface and the access, and we bring the PPE and safety paperwork the site calls for.

How a commercial job runs

Five steps from site walk to sign-off.

  1. 01

    Walk the site.

We come out and look at the surfaces, the access and how the space gets used day to day. Bring your trading hours and any dates you can’t move.

  2. 02

    Written quote and paperwork.

You get the scope and price in writing, set out so you can pass it to an owner or a committee. Our QBCC licence and insurance certificates can go out with it.

  3. 03

    Agree the schedule.

We settle which areas get painted when. Shopfronts and dining rooms can go after close. Offices can run a room or a floor at a time. On a new build we work to the builder’s program.

  4. 04

Prep, paint, tidy up each shift.

Wash, sand, fill and seal, then the topcoat that surface needs. Gear is packed away at the end of every shift so staff and customers walk back into a working space.

  5. 05

    Sign-off walk.

We go through the site with you or your manager and fix anything that’s missed before we leave. Spare paint stays with you, marked by area, for later repairs.

Common questions

What people ask before booking.

  • Can you paint after hours or on weekends?

Yes. We can work after close or on a weekend when that’s the only time a shop, cafe or office can spare the space. Tell us your trading hours when you ask for a quote. We’ll break the job into sections that fit around them, so you can keep serving customers while the work gets done bit by bit.

  • Are you licensed and insured for commercial painting?

Yes. Our QBCC licence number is 1281728, and we carry public liability and workers comp. If a landlord or head office wants copies before we start, ask and we’ll send the certificates. We’re also qualified to deal with lead paint and asbestos, which can turn up in older buildings and fitouts.

  • Do you paint industrial sheds and warehouses?

Yes. Warehouses, factories, sheds and plant rooms are part of our industrial work. We look at the surface, the access and how the site runs before we choose a paint system, and we bring the PPE and safety paperwork the site needs. One Google reviewer whose home we painted inside wrote that they were getting us to paint their industrial sheds as well.

  • Do you take on new commercial developments?

Yes. New commercial developments are part of what we do, and we have long-standing ties with local builders. On a new build we fit in with the builder’s program and the other trades on site, and finish areas in the order the handover needs. Send through the plans or the painting schedule and we’ll price the job from those.

  • Which parts of the Sunshine Coast do you cover for commercial work?

We take commercial work right across the Coast. That includes the coastal centres of Caloundra, Caloundra West, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum and Noosa, suburbs like Sippy Downs, Mountain Creek, Nambour, Woombye and Beerwah, and the hinterland cluster of Maleny, Montville, Flaxton, Reesville and Elaman Creek. If your site is somewhere else, ask us.
